Fairytales again are the focus of our articles section. Elyssa Edwards takes a look at the history of fairytales and how what was old is new again as writers rediscover this rich vein and are mining it for contemporary story ideas.
Our art section is honored to be able to feature the work of the amazing Scott Christian Sava from Blue Dream Studios. Sava is an award wining author and artist whose work includes the highly popular online comic, The Dreamland Chronicles.
We have a second treat for your eyes and a little inside scoop on the manga and anime craze. A few young artists, like the talented Brooke Wright, have shown eMuse their talents and explained exactly how the Japanese artists have influenced their work. Come take a look at what the future holds for this growing blend of visual and literary art.
Our reviews section is embracing the darkness along with writers PC Cast and Kristen Cast, creators of the House of Night series. This mother and daughter team has given eMuse a peek at the collaboration that goes into their joint efforts and at what each has coming up in the future. As always we have book reviews to tempt and tease you or just help you decide what’s next on your list.

We at eMuse have a special summer treat in the works. We would like to invite all of you to attend a very special summer camp that will require no sweating, no insect repellent and no sleeping outdoors unless you simply want to. Our June issue includes a series of Writer’s Summer Camp Merit Badge tasks for our readers. You are invited to do all of the tasks or choose a few that strike your interest and submit your results to us. Our September issue will include the best of the of the entries in each category. Each person who attempts a Merit Badge will be added to a drawing for a prize. The more Merit Badges you earn, the more prizes you could win. Our prizes will include a $100 and a $50 Amazon gift card for first and second prizes, respectively.
